# Editor Integrations

> Connect coding editors to the Nito API.

For Claude Code and Codex, the [Nito Plugin](/plugin/get-started/what-the-plugin-is) adds Nito commands inside the existing session. The pages below also show how to route supported tools through the Nito API.

Create a `z_sk_` API key in the [developer console](/web-app/developer-console) and choose a model ID from the [catalog](/models/all-models). The editor guides differ by the API format each tool sends:

| Editor | Nito endpoint | Guide |
| :- | :- | :- |
| Claude Code | Anthropic Messages | [Claude Code](/api/sdks/editor-integrations/claude-code) |
| Codex | Responses | [Codex](/api/sdks/editor-integrations/codex) |
| OpenCode | Chat Completions | [OpenCode](/api/sdks/editor-integrations/opencode) |
| Cline | Chat Completions | [Cline](/api/sdks/editor-integrations/cline) |
| Cursor | OpenAI base URL override, with compatibility limits | [Cursor](/api/sdks/editor-integrations/cursor) |

For a tool with custom OpenAI-compatible connection details, the common values are:

* **Base URL:** `https://app.trynito.ai/v1`.
* **API key:** a `z_sk_` key from the [developer console](/web-app/developer-console).
* **Model ID:** a catalog ID such as `moonshotai/kimi-k3`, from `GET /v1/models`.

The privacy level travels with the model: `z-ai/glm-5.2` runs at Private, `z-ai/glm-5.2:confidential` inside attested hardware. Encrypted needs client-side encryption and is out of reach for these tools. See [Privacy Levels](/privacy/levels).

Chat Completions is the default compatible surface. `/v1/responses` serves clients that speak the Responses API; `/v1/messages` serves tools that speak the Anthropic shape. Each guide explains where its tool expects the base URL to end and how to check a text reply and a tool task.
