NanoClaw runs agents in containers. Its supported route for a custom OpenAI-compatible endpoint is the optional OpenCode provider. The provider setup connects the model endpoint and stores its credential through NanoClaw’s configured credential gateway.

Install and authenticate

In a NanoClaw checkout, run:
Choose Local or self-hosted, NanoClaw’s option for an OpenAI-compatible URL. Enter https://app.trynito.ai/v1, a z_sk_ key from the developer console, and a model ID from the catalog, such as moonshotai/kimi-k3. Complete the credential gateway grant requested by setup. The key belongs in that gateway rather than in the agent group’s files.

Select an agent group

Restart the NanoClaw host service using the service command for your installation so it loads the new provider. For an existing agent group, select OpenCode and restart that group:
The setup command does not change an existing group’s provider by itself. A group model override, if set, takes precedence over the installation default. Choose the exact Nito model ID shown in the catalog.

Check the route

Send a short message and confirm a reply, then send a follow-up to check session continuation. If the provider is missing, confirm the host service restarted. If the request is unauthorized, inspect the credential gateway grant for the group. If the model is unknown, check the group’s override and the default selected during setup. NanoClaw documents installation, gateway credentials, host restart, and group selection in its OpenCode provider skill.
