Nito shares by encrypted link. Your browser encrypts a copy, uploads only the encrypted bytes, and hands you a link whose key sits in the URL fragment after #. The fragment never leaves the browser, so Nito cannot read what it stores.

Share a Chat

Open the share action on a chat and copy the link:
  • The share is a snapshot. Later messages are not added; make a new link to share them.
  • Anyone with the full link can open it. The link is the secret.
  • Replies still streaming are left out.
  • The share page removes the fragment from the address bar before unlocking, so the key stays out of the recipient’s history.
Each account has a limit on shares and the encrypted data they hold; deleting old shares frees room. A signed-in recipient can continue the conversation in their own chat. The shared snapshot never changes.

Share a Workbench Item

Prompts, Personas, and Knowledge entries share the same way from the Library. The link opens a preview under /share/workbench/, and Import adds a local copy to the recipient’s Workbench.
  • Imported Personas are not made the default automatically.
  • Imported Knowledge keeps the privacy level it was created under.
  • Import needs a plan that includes Workbench. See Workbench.

Share Proof

The receipt on a Confidential or Encrypted reply shares as a proof-only digest: someone can check the proof without seeing the prompt, the answer, or the signing identity. See Receipts and Proof.
